Most of the festival takes place on Michigan Ave in downtown Chicago. The studio tours are spread through-out downtown and the art showcases are in Chicago entertainment district, Wicker Park.

Cabs
Cabs are most everywhere downtown. I would suggest writing down the number of a cab company, so you never have to wait too long. Most restaurants or bars will call a cab for you if you ask them too.
Bikes
Bikes may be brought on CTA trains at any time except during rush hours (weekdays 7-9am & 4-6pm); bikes may be brought on CTA buses at any time. Metra allows bikes, with the exception of trains arriving in Chicago before 9:30am and leaving Chicago between 3pm and 7pm.
