After Effects Fundamentals Workshop

Section 1: Saturday, Nov 21st, 10am - 5pm
Section 2: Sunday, Nov 22nd, 10am - 5pm
• Each student gets a fully-loaded computer to work on.
• Hosted by Future Media Concepts and Sterling Ledet.
• Locations are around Farragut Square.
This workshop will lead students through building projects from source files that use tips and tricks of after effects animation. The course will start with the basics, and quickly ramp up to 3D. The last part of the workshop will be an open format question and answer covering any topic students have questions about.
Nick Campbell is a motion designer, and photographer from Chicago. He graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art with a degree in Design and Fine Art. Nick spent three years at Digital Kitchen, where he worked on the Emmy-nominated TV show Dexter and with such clients as HBO, Showtime, Target and most recently with The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. His creative portfolio can be found at CreamyOrange.com In 2008 he founded Greyscalegoriilla.com/blog where he posts articles and videos on how to be creative and get paid. He also has a successful photography iPhone application called ShakeItPhoto.
Nick is currently working on finding ways to share his experience in design and business and to help other passionate people make great work.
