Motion-Images and the Future of Soul Panel

7pm - 7:45pm, at The Independent at 501 Studios

501 N IH 35, Corner of E. 5th St. and Brushy

The word 'psychedelic' is an English term coined from the Greek words for "soul," ψυχή (psyche), and "manifest," δήλος (delos). A psychedelic experience is characterized by the perception of aspects of one's mind previously unknown, or by the creative exuberance of the mind liberated from its ordinary fetters. Visualization leads software and media design and the tools for visualization have primarily been designed by engineers for business purpose. How can artists en-vision, and thus manifest, a way of creating art that is more appropriate to their practice? How can technology help us to preserve the things which make us human?
